A year ago a beautiful red sculpture by Isamu Noguchi was purchased for One Museum Place. At that time One
Museum Place was into heavy construction – certainly no place for a valuable sculpture. Accordingly, we lent the
piece to the High Museum of Art. It has been very visible in the courtyard between the Woodruff Arts Center’s
Memorial Arts Building and the Museum for a year now, and One Museum Place is ready for the Noguchi, all 9,000
pounds of it, to come across the street.
Look for Isamu Noguchi’s Octetra on the east side of Peachtree Street very soon.
